Hi Gentlemen,

I Will Always Love You is a famous song sung by Whitney Houston.

Not sure how many of you hve heard of Whitney Houston. I'm not a super fans of hers but you all have songs that you like to sing and listen to at your age now. Whitney Houston was one of those very popular singers that we listened to when we were your age. So, now you know how old I am? : )

Or do you remember the movie "Prince of Egypt"? Whitney Houston sang the theme song together with Mariah Carey. Hearing news about her being put down badly by fans who paid big money to hear her sing recently brings a lot of reflections and also made me a little bit sad.

Whitney stopped singing for quite some time. The worst thing that happened to her was being married to a drug abusing husband, Bobby Brown. She even took drugs herself. Since then, her career and life has been sliding downhill all the way. Even now when she is trying to make a comeback, it is such an uphill climb. But falling down is not failure as long as we always pick ourselves up.

Whitney reminds me abt my teenage years. All the things that we did while her songs played in the background. Sometimes my friends and I would sing her songs too.

How much can change within 10-20 years. Whitney was THE VOICE. Now she is being put down for singing badly. Everybody remembers her song "I Will Always Love You". But for the wrong reasons now. What will you be like 20 years from now? I hope that you will still be full of hope, full of confidence and you can hold your head up high.

But you need to remember that our lives are like a journey. Every road that that you choose at every turning makes you the kind of person that you are. Choose wisely. May God be with you on your journey.
